Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 7/17/2026

THEFT–Individual passed all points of sale with food items and was detained by AP until officers arrived on scene and was taken into custody for Theft and transported to jail. 

THEFT–Individual passed all point of sale with misc. items and fled to the parking lot. Officers located the individual in the parking lot and issued a citation for Class C Theft and Warned from the property. 

WARRANT SERVICE–Traffic Stop on I-20 yielded a Warrant Arrest of the driver who was wanted for DWI. 

DWLI ARREST–Officers were dispatched to a Reckless Driving call. Upon arrival to the area officers conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation which ultimately resulted in the arrest of the driver for DWLI.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE–Night shift found the front glass shattered but intact at a business. Did not look like an intentional act but structure malfunction.

PUBLIC INTOX–An employee called stating that an individual left their back parking lot after leaving a bunch of beer cans on the ground and then went across the street and parked but was refused service. Officers contacted the individual in the parking lot and arrested for PI. 

SUSPICIOUS PERSON–Individual was located sleeping on bench. Given courtesy transport.
