Dennis William Rosenkild

Dennis William Rosenkild son of the late Raymond Victor Rosenkild and Opal Lavonne Wolf died October 21, 2024 of complications of heart and lung at the age of 79. Dennis was born on August 1, 1945, in Audobon, Iowa.
He and his family moved to Fontana, California in 1958. He graduated from Fontana High School in 1963. As he ventured out into the business world he owned a tile company, worked for a pharmaceutical company, and worked with his brother-in-law who owned a sign business> He then went to work for Tutor-Saliba in Sylmar, California, and retired in 2010. Later after moving to Lindale, TX he assumed a position with Bumper to Bumper. Dennis thoroughly enjoyed working so that he could build a classic ’68 Chevy pickup which he adored. Dennis’ passions were quail hunting, dove hunting, fishing with his son Denny, and his love for watersports. He will be remembered as a hardworking, loyal, fun-loving guy.
Dennis is survived by his wife Patricia Rosenkild, stepson Trevor Wiseman, daughters Leana Arvizu (Ed), Leah Sargent (Jimmy), brother Gary Rosendild (Lynne), brother-in-law Scott Cassel (Helen), sister-in-law Kim Tardie, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Daryl Rosenkild and son Denny Rosenkild
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Lung Association, American Heart Association or the Disabled Veterans of America.
A memorial in his honor will take place early in 2025. Date to be announced after the first of the year.
