Police seek shooting suspect

Tyler Police officers responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of Southridge Dr. in Tyler on March 12 at approximately 3:15 a.m. One victim, a 53-year-old male from Tyler, was shot in the abdomen. When officers arrived, the victim was alert and awake. The victim was transported to a local hospital by EMS.

The suspect in this shooting has been identified as Kenus Lewis, B/M with DOB 8/7/99. Detectives obtained warrants on Lewis for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon with a $750,000 bond and Felon in Possession of a Firearm with a $500,000 bond.
