Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 2/6/2026

DISTURBANCE-A vehicle being repossessed. The owner was jumping on the repo truck boom causing a disturbance. 

THEFT-An individual was detained in an office for theft of merch. The individual was taken to Smith Co Jail for Class B theft.

DWI-During a traffic stop, an individual was intoxicated, which led to a probable cause search. The individual fought with both officers on scene and kicked both. The individual was taken to smith county jail for DWI 3rd or more, resist arrest/search/transport and assault peace officer/judge x2.

THEFT-RP requested to speak with an officer about their food stamp card being used without their authorization.
