Pet of the week

Pet of the week is male standard Poodle Stark. He is currently in foster care, he is 3 years old, weighs 40 pounds and is purebred. He needs a quiet and loving home that will keep him mentally stimulated. Standard Poodles do not do well in homes that are loud or have a lot of fighting. They thrive in calm environments that will challenge them mentally. They are second only to Border Collies in intelligence and love to do things like agility training or working with the speech buttons you may have seen on TikTok. Stark does not do well around toddlers, but older, quieter children are ok. He needs to be in a home with no other pets, and no chickens. Like all Poodles, he is reserved around new people, but once he warms up to you and bonds with you, you will not have a more loyal and loving pet. He is beautiful, and there is lots of interest in him, but please, make sure you understand this breed before you apply.
