Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 12/12/2025

SOLICITING- RP called regarding a church group with buckets in the road, approaching cars for money. RP says they are being aggressive. 

CIVIL MATTER-RP called regarding a shared phone plan with RPs ex, and the ex reported RPs phone stolen.

CIVIL MATTER-RP came to the PD wanting to file a theft of service report regarding paying the yard man $200 to help RP move. RP advised that yardman has cancelled several times due to weather. 

SUSP CIRCUMSTANCE-RP advised that they are on foot and being followed by an SUV and the driver is yelling at RP and harassing them. 

STOLEN VEHICLE-RP called 911 from the parking lot to advise their vehicle had been stolen. Officer arrived on scene and located the vehicle parked in the aisle. Once reunited, RP advised that they came out of the wrong doors.

THEFT-AP called regarding an individual in the AP office who shoplifted $32.43 of merch.

MENTAL HEALTH / WELFARE CHEK-RP called 911 stating a friend left RP a message indicating that they were going to harm themselves.

ASSIST ANOTHER AGENCY/EMS-EMS called requesting assistance with a suicidal patient. The patient stated they were going to harm themselves, and PD was advised the patient was in bed with a butter knife. No weapon was located by officers. 

HIT & RUN-Officer took a report of a Hit & Run Accident from an employee who reported that their vehicle was damaged in the parking lot while RP was working. 

ASSIST ANOTHER AGENCY/EMS-An individual having suicidal thoughts and was claiming to harm themself with a butter knife. 

ASSIST LINDALE FIRE DEPT-assisted with a fully involved tractor trailer fire. The driver believes it was caused by a blown hydraulic line.
