Lindale Police Significant Events
INQUEST- Dispatch received a 911 call stating individual was unresponsive and hands and feet were cold to the touch and blue.
HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT-RP stated they got a green arrow and proceeded to turn left when another vehicle failed to yield and turned onto the ramp colliding with RPs vehicle.
SCAM – RPs received call from someone claiming they were from Capital One and requested them to purchase gift cards to protect their money.
FRAUD - RP calling to claim that someone picked up medication from CVS using their information.
PUBLIC SERVICE – RP came to the PD wanting to report harassment from neighbor.
VEH V. PED ACCIDENT-Pedestrian walking across the parking lot got struck by a vehicle leaving the drive through.
WARRANT SERVICE - Traffic stop for exp plates. Individual was wanted - Warrant was confirmed and individual was arrested.
POSS MARIJUANA, WARRANT SERVICE- Traffic stop-contact made with the driver who was wanted.
FRAUD: RP called to report that they had been scammed out of $1000 worth of gift cards. RP received a call from a male identifying himself as law enforcement from SCSO and told RP they had a warrant for their arrest. RP was instructed to withdraw cash and then use the cash to purchase gift cards.
