Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 10/24/2025

PUBLIC INTOX-An individual in the parking lot who appeared impaired and trying to leave. Security stated they contacted the individual who said they were too intoxicated to drive. Officers arrested the individual for PI and their vehicle was turned over to a relative who had the keys. 

CRIMINAL TRESPASS-RP called regarding firing an employee who made threats to coworkers. The individual needs to collect their belongings and RP requests an officer standby. The individual gathered their belongings with no incident and was issued a CTW upon request.  

DISTURBANCE-RP calling regarding their spouse creating a disturbance and being very aggressive. RP left the location and waited for officers across the street. 

WELFARE CHECK-RP wanted a welfare check done on an individual known to stay in the woods - supposedly the individual sent a text the previous night planning to kill themself. 

THEFT-Officer was working an off-duty security position and asked for an officer to come regarding an individual shoplifting from the store. An officer arrived to find the individual had shoplifted $13 worth of deli food. 

WELFARE CHECK-RP requesting welfare check – their friend was talking about ending their life.  

DISORDERLY CONDUCT/CRIMINAL TRESPASS-RP is coaching a soccer team and advised that there is an individual on scene yelling at the kids, referees and cussing everyone out. 

ASSAULT ON PEACE OFFICER/RESISTING ARREST-Chief Somes was directing traffic when an individual approached him aggressively. While Chief was speaking with him, the individual struck Chief and was arrested for assault on a peace officer.
