Lindale Police Brief – Week ending 10/17/2025

CIVIL MATTER-Police received a call regarding a theft, it turned out to be a civil matter with an ex-spouse.

FMFR TOW-Officers initiated a traffic stop for exp reg. and no insurance. Vehicle towed for FMFR.

HARRASMENT-RP came to the PD wanting to file harassment charges.

DISTURBANCE-Police received a call from a passerby stating that there were 3 people arguing and getting physical with each other. RP advised that the vehicle was last seen driving toward the store.

FMFR TOW-Officers initiated a traffic stop. Vehicle had no insurance. Driver had no license. Vehicle impounded under FMFR. 

ASSIST SCSO- Officers assisted deputies with a report of a shooting. 

THEFT-The victim purchased items and left the store to load the items into the vehicle. The victim forgot items on the bottom of the grocery cart and left the cart in the return where the items were taken by someone else.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES-RP requested officers check garage after hearing their car door close. Officers arrived and found nothing that would indicate someone was in the garage, and all items accounted for.

MENTAL HEALTH/WELFARE CHECK-Police received a call from the suicide hotline requesting a welfare check.
