Lindale Police Report week ending 9/05/2025

LOITERING-RP, a manager, called about an individual being on the property for several hours, asking people for money.

THEFT/CRIM TRESPASS-RP just had an individual steal $36 worth of fuel.  

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF-RP stated that an individual pulled up to RPs vehicle at the gas pumps and slashed one of their tires before driving off because RP refused to pay for the individual’s gas.

THEFT-RP advised that they have eyes on an individual who took ran away after being confronted for passing sale points with $261 worth of merch.

WELFARE CHECK-RP advised that an individual has been up at the washateria for a while just talking to themselves.

PCS-RP works at a hotel front desk. RP advised that an individual checked out of their room and seemed very intoxicated, slurring words and had no balance or coordination. Officers contacted the individual, meth was located. Vehicle towed and individual was arrested for PCS.

ACCIDENT-Vehicle failed to navigate a turn and ran into a tree. The vehicle caught fire, causing injuries.

HIT AND RUN-Vehicle struck another and then left south on 69. 

AOA-I20 AND 69-Major accident on I20. Assisted TxDot with traffic control at intersection due to heavy traffic flow.

AOA-69N AND 4119-County requested assistance with possible intoxicated driver who wreck out at a residence in county. 

POM-Officer made a traffic stop and could smell odor of marijuana. Located subject in backseat with marijuana in lap. 

AOA- Vehicle was on fire at residence. Assisted with water hoses until fire arrived.

THEFT-Individual stole a belt valued $12. Store file charges and CT’d from location.
