Lindale Police Report Week Ending 8/29/2025
CRIMINAL TRESPASS-RP called regarding a person in the parking lot approaching customers attempting to sell bread. The responding officer issued a CTW.
SUSP CIRCUMSTANCE-RP called to advise neighbors are out of town and their back gate is open. An officer arrived and it did not appear anything was messed with. CIP has been added.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF-RP came to their vehicle this morning and noticed damage to the driver’s side door. CIP was placed on the residence.
THEFT-AP called advising that two people are in the office after being caught shoplifting $5.92 worth of food.
WELFARE CHECK-RP stated they are the caretaker of the resident there and can’t get anyone to answer the door. Officers arrived and made entry into the apartment to find that no one was home. It was found that the resident was in the hospital.
THEFT-AP called advising they have an individual in the office that was caught shoplifting $108 worth of merchandise. The individual was taken to jail and issued a CTW.
WARRANT SERVICE-Traffic stop was made in parking lot. Officers arrested a suspect on 5 felony warrants from surrounding county.
EVADING-Officers initiated traffic stop and driver bailed out running north into the woods. Driver was not found but was identified. Passengers were identified and released.
THEFT-RP stated their bike was taken from the house in the early morning. Officers determined it was the bike taken by individual from evading case above and located the property in Lindale.
HARASSMENT-An individual was bothering an employee but had not committed harassment yet. The caller was advised what to do if the individual come backs and how to cease contact with them.
