HARASSMENT, TACO BELL-Received a call from the manager, stating that people have been making prank calls to Taco Bell and the calls are interfering with business. RP advised she mistakenly called one of the numbers from her personal phone and now they are calling her cell phone. The officer attempted to contact but subjects hung up. Report taken and sent to CID.

RUNAWAY/RECOVERED-RP is advising his stepson ran away from home. Officers were at the residence following up on Sheriff’s Office Request, checking for a runaway female they have a report of, which was the juvenile’s girlfriend. Both had been entered as runaway juveniles. Both returned to their parents. 

THEFT, BROOKSHIRES-RP is the manager who advised that an employee had been caught stealing about $650 in merch for the past week-admitted to approx. $500 worth. Since a few days had passed since the offense occurred, a report was taken for a warrant to be issued. Forwarded to CID

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT, QT-RP called advising that his car was struck by a white box style truck with no LP. The officer responded and obtained video and took a report. Forwarded to CID for follow-up.

VIO PROTECTIVE ORDER-RP called in regard to her ex-boyfriend violating a protective order she has against him. RP advised that he has been calling her repeatedly and coming to her apartment, but she refuses to meet and talk to him. The subject is not currently on scene. RP was advised to call if he comes back. Report was taken and sent to CID.

PUBLIC SERVICE-RP called PD very upset because of a Post on Heads Up Lindale Page referencing her calling the PD about a suspicious vehicle at the cemetery. RP wanted dispatch and officers to give contact information to her about the person that posted.

WELFARE CONCERN-RP called advising that when he arrived home from work, his roommate is having a mental episode and is armed with a rifle, barricaded in his bedroom. RP advised that he left the residence and is at his brother’s down the street. Officers contacted RP who took officers to the house and let them inside. A CIP was placed on the residence.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS, WALMART-Walmart AP called in and advised that there is an individual in the parking lot selling firewood, refusing to leave. RP wants him removed from the property. 

THEFT/SCAM-Rp called and advised that she was just scammed out of $4,000. She advised that she received a phone call stating that she had a warrant for her arrest and to keep from going to jail, she had to pay $4,000 in Bitcoin to the caller.

Threats-R/P stated that he and his girlfriend’s ex got into it by text about potty training a child. Ex made a comment that he took as a threat. It was not and the officer handled it at scene.

AOA–Juvenile started a small fire in the backyard that caught the fence on fire. Fire wanted us to come issue a citation. Handled the call with homeowner and the fence was repaired with no citation.

Assault–Clerk called stating a victim had been assaulted by her bf. Officers contacted the victim and documented her injuries. The boyfriend was gone prior to arrival. 

AOA-Chief called req officers to neighbors home due to the neighbor’s son shooting himself. Subj had self-inflicted shot to head. Transported to UT Main but died later. Assist County with crime scene.

POW–Officers made contact w/ individual for the second time in 24 hours. Subj was again hallucinating multiple people in his house that refused to let him leave. Subj was taken in for a mental health eval.

CT–WM-Family panhandling again. Warned off the property, CT’d.
