Lindale—The Lindale Independent School District (ISD) recently announced the hiring and transition of several leaders to its administration team for the 2025-26 school year.

"Mr. Jeremy Chilek has been an extremely successful principal at Lindale High School and Lindale Junior High," Superintendent Stan Surratt said. "With the retirement of Mr. Jamie Holder, Mr. Chilek will be promoted to assistant superintendent at the Central Office. Mr. Chilek has strong leadership skills and will be very successful in his new role. Lindale ISD is very fortunate to have Mr. Chilek and his leadership abilities."

Chilek began his career in education 23 years ago and most recently served as principal at Lindale High School. He brings experience in campus operations, teacher development, and curriculum leadership.

"I love Lindale ISD, and I am very excited to serve the district as the assistant superintendent," Chilek said. "Mr. Surratt is one of the best and most admired superintendents in Texas and I am looking forward to working more closely with him. I am honored to serve our district in this role and hope to make a positive impact in every aspect of our educational community."

"I am a lifelong Lindale Eagle and love this community and school very much," Wright said. "Some of my earliest and most fond memories are of supporting Lindale High School sports teams and watching our band. Serving as principal at LHS, where I am an alumnus, is very special. I am honored and excited to work with the amazing high school staff and look forward to another great year for Lindale High School."

A former principal at EJ Moss Intermediate, Mr. David French, will transition to Lindale High School as the assistant principal.
