Lindale Police Significant Events 2/28
ASSIST SMITH COUNTY-County requested assistance in serving a warrant. The individual was not home but the officers later received notification that the subject had turned themselves into jail.
ASSIST LINDALE FIRE-Lindale Fire requested assistance with traffic control as they were working an active fire at a residence. No one was home at the time of the fire.
THEFT-AP called advising they have an individual they caught shoplifting, would like to prosecute and have subject warned away. Officers arrived and contacted the individual, issued a citation for theft and issued a CTW warning.
WARRANT SERVICE-Tyler PD issued a warrant for theft. Lindale PD received a hit on the warrant and located the individual’s place of employment. Officers contacted the individual and placed him under arrest after the warrant was confirmed.
Reckless-Officers contacted two motorists in a parking lot about a possible road rage incident that took place.
