Weekly Brief – Week ending 01/24/2025

WARRANT SERVICE-Active Lindale PD warrant – Individual was located, and the warrant was served.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS-RP is landlord advised there is an individual at the residence he does not want there. Officers contacted the individual, who was issued a CTW and left the scene.

INQUEST-RP advised he has tried contacting his mother all day but hasn’t been able to reach her. RP went to the house and found her deceased.  

WARRANT SERVICE-Traffic stop resulted in a warrant service. The vehicle was impounded and subjects were taken to jail.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS-RP called advising everyday of the week, an individual showed up at the house to pick up children from the bus stop. RP advised that she has told the individual not to do that any longer, but they continue to do it. An officer contacted the individual who was issued a CTW from the residence.

DISTURBANCE-RP advised there is a large disturbance among guests at the house and is requesting officers. RP was not cooperative with dispatch and hung up. Dispatch called back and was told to get the police there. Dispatch could hear yelling in the background. Officers arrived to learn that the parties had separated, and several had left the residence. The disturbance was over a dog.

CIVIL MATTER-RP stated she sold her car and forgot to take the plates. The buyer is now in Louisiana and running up tolls. Advised she needed to contact the toll authority.

WARRANT SERVICE-Traffic stop was made and subject had warrants. Subj was taken to jail without incident.

ASSIST DPS-Major accident involving alcoholic beverages. Subjs ejected from the vehicle with massive trauma. DPS took over the scene.

CT-Individual was found on the property and subsequently arrested for violation of existing CTW. 

WARRANT SERV-Traffic stop was made, and driver was wanted out of Wood County. Wood County asked for a transfer. Subj was transported to Mineola and handed off to deputies.

INQUEST-Individual passed away in her bed. 

ASSIST FIRE-Owner’s stove caught on fire while cooking. No damage to the house as the fire was extinguished quickly.

WARRANT SERV-Traffic stop was done. Subj had some marijuana in the car and warrant out for his arrest. Warrant confirmed and car towed due to arrest and no insurance.
