Weekly Brief – Week ending 01/17/2025-Significant Events
CIVIL MATTER-RP came into the PD to talk with an officer about an incident that occurred on a previous date. She advised that an officer directed her to come to the PD because an individual put all her belongings outside by the trash. RP was advised that it is a civil issue unless her personal property was damaged.
DISTURBANCE-RP called in stating that she and her sister had been in an argument and her sister got out of the car and refused to get back in.
SUSP CIRCUMSTANCE, CRACKER BARREL-Dispatch received a call stating RP is at Cracker Barrel and needs an officer as she has not gotten her food yet.
EVADING ARREST W/VEH-Officers were leaving the previous scene, the RP left the parking lot with no headlights on. An officer made a traffic stop and the individual went ballistic, swung at the officer, and then drove away from the traffic stop. Officers got her stopped again, placed under arrest for Evading Arrest/Det w/Vehicle.
ASSIST SCSO-Deputy called requesting an officer to go with him to a residence to serve a Protective Order. Officers arrived and the individual was served, left the location.
Inquest-deceased person in bed, found unresponsive. JP called.
WM-Hit and Run-Vehicle was struck in the parking lot while RP was at work. Report taken.
WM-CT-Subj used different barcodes to scan slippers. WM only wanted a CT done.
Crews N Buy–CT-Management called about an individual they want warned away. Located the individual at the Smoke Shop next door. Issued CT for Crews N Buy to the individual.
Susp Call-Officers contacted an individual who believes a LEO has been injecting him and keeping him drugged. Subj refused EMS after asking for them.
WM–Theft-RP stated that he left his wallet out while he was in the bathroom and forgot it. Went back in and was gone. Nobody had turned in a wallet. Report taken. Wallet was returned.
